Alfredo Chicken Recipe

Here’s a quick and easy recipe for Alfredo Chicken.

Steps:
1. Thaw out chicken

2. Cook chicken with garlic until done.  We use Purdue chicken breasts.  Thats 3.

3. Boil noodles. Aldi’s fit/active whole wheat noodles. Ingredients: whole wheat <– literally one ingredient.  #boom

4. Add as many vegetables as possible – I believe we also added peas if I’m not mistaken

4. Drain noodles

5. Combine all into a single pot and add sauce

 

Total time ~15 min (maybe)

Protein  1 serving

Carbohydrates 1-2 servings

Fats 1 serving

Vegetables 1-2 servings

Calories – Roughly 400-500 a bowl?

Makes left overs for the next day – absolutely

 

Other Considerations:

Gain weight – add 2 chicken breasts per serving and get 2-3 cupped hands of pasta in each sitting.

Maintain – use above bowl as a serving and eat slowly until 80% full.

Lose weight – eat slowly and to 80% full.  Make sure you can fit the pasta in 2 cupped hands (men) or 1 cupped hand (women). Use sauce more sparingly. Use alternate vegetable noodles (zucchini noodles).
